Cinda International visits the elderly annually and in this year, the visit was arranged in late September namely “Air Refreshing Mid-Autumn Festival” whilst the target group was 80 elderly people.  In the morning of the event day, a team of 17 volunteers which includes the management of Cinda International visited the elderly in Wan Chai Methodist Centre for the Seniors. The volunteers distributed the gift bags to the elderly and played games with them in order to bring them care, love and festival atmosphere through the visit.

Mr. Gong Zhijian, the Chairman and Managing Director and Mr. Dickson Lau, the Deputy General Manager of Cinda International, have participated in the event. The representative of the Centre thanked Cinda International for supporting the visits over years, presented souvenir and an elderly autographed card and was received by Mr. Gong Zhijian and Mr. Dickson Lau on behalf of Cinda International. The volunteers took this opportunity to disseminate the message of “Fresh Air” to the elderly. The event began with simple stretching exercises and followed by other games such as “riddles”, “How many you know about fresh and low carbon lives” and ‘singing RAP’ etc. Through the games among the electricity consumption of daily household electrical appliances and carbon emissions on food delivered the tips of low carbon life to the elderly.  The elderly enjoyed the games very much and have joy with the volunteers. Before the conclusion of the event, Cinda International served festive refreshment to the elderly. Lastly, the volunteers distributed the gift bags to each elderly and took group photos as memento. The event was successfully concluded.

The volunteers of Cinda International practice actively and help those in need. To contribute to the society, Cinda International will continue to organize various CSR activities in future.
