With the support of the Business Environment Council, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service and the Policy for Sustainability Lab of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong, HSBC Living Business Awards has stridden into its fourteenth anniversary. The HSBC Living Business Programme aims to help SMEs achieve sustainable development by assessing and improving their performance in environmental protection, community engagement and employee caring. In 2018, this programme was transformed to incorporate the elements of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) and Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”) in the programme, facilitating companies to connect with the global trend and to cope with the future challenges.

Cinda International cares for the physical and mental health of the employees, and actively participates in social responsibility and environmental protection activities. Cinda International has been awarded the Green Achievement Award (Certificate of Merit) since 2014, and has been awarded the Caring for People Award and Community Engagement Award in the following years. Cinda International has also been successfully awarded the Environmental, Social and Governance Award 2018 (Certificate of Merit) under the new programme and the Long Term Participation Award since it has attained the award(s) for five consecutive years.
