Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) organized by Environmental Campaign Committee, Environmental Protection Department and other ninth organizations, has strode into its ninth year since 2008. HKAEE is recognized by the community as one of the most prestigious and reputable awards in Hong Kong. HKAEE proclaims Non-SMEs category and SMEs category. The assessment criteria for the awards is based on green leadership, programme and performance, and partner synergy. It aims to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt green management, benchmark their commitments towards best practices within their sectors, and recognise and acknowledge the efforts of leading business and organisations. This year, a total of 55 environmental conservation awards and over a hundred merit awards were presented to the green corporations and organizations. Cinda International was one amongst them.

Cinda International perseveres with its outstanding performance in previous years, and has been awarded the ‘HKAEE – Servicing and Trading Sector (Certificate of Merit)’ for consecutive eighth years. Cinda International is the only awardee with PRC background in the sector this year.

The Presentation Ceremony for 2015 HKAEE and Hong Kong Green Innovation Awards was held on 19 April 2016 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Mr. Wong Kam-sing, the Secretary for the Environment, Mr. Lam Chiu-ying, the Chairman of the Environmental Campaign Committee, Dr. Joseph Lee, the Chairman of Environment and Conservation Fund Committee, Mr. Ho On-sing, Thomas, the Chairman of Awards Committee on the HKAEE, Ms. Wong Sean-yee, Anissa, the Permanent Secretary for the Environment/Director of Environmental Protection, officiated the ceremony. Mr. Lau Mun Chung, the Executive Director and Deputy General Manager, received the award on behalf of Cinda International.
