Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) organized by Environmental Campaign Committee, Environmental Protection Department and other nine organizations, has strode into its eighth year since 2008. HKAEE is recognized by the community as one of the most prestigious and reputable awards in Hong Kong. HKAEE proclaims Non-SMEs category and SMEs category. The assessment criteria for the awards is based on green leadership, programme and performance, and partner synergy. It aims to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt green management, benchmark their commitments towards best practices within their sectors, and recognise and acknowledge the efforts of leading business and organisations. This year, a total of 46 environmental conservation awards including Non-SMEs category and SMEs category and over a hundred merit awards were presented to the green corporations and organizations. Cinda International was one amongst them.

Cinda International perseveres with its outstanding performance in previous years, and has been awarded the ‘HKAEE – Servicing and Trading Sector (Certificate of Merit)’ for consecutive seventh years. Cinda International is the only awardee with PRC background in the sector this year.

The 2014 HKAEE Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 14 May 2015 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Mr. Leung Chun Ying, the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Mr. Wong Kam-sing, the Secretary for the Environment and Mr. Lam Chiu Ying, Chairman of the Environmental Campaign Committee, officiated the ceremony. Mr. Lau Mun Chung, the Executive Director and Deputy General Manager, received the award on behalf of Cinda International.
