Cinda International awarded “HSBC Living Business - Green Achievement Award 2014 (Certificate of Merit)”

With the support of the
Business Environment Council, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service and the
Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management, HSBC Living Business Awards
has strode into its tenth anniversary. This program consists of three
categories, namely the Community Engagement Award, the Green Achievement Award and
the People Caring Award. The judging criteria of Green Achievement Award includes
overall environmental management approach, environmental communication, training
and awareness, pollution control and reduction including waste, air, water and
noise, and resources conservation including energy, water and materials. The award
aims to appreciate small and medium enterprises to become more competitive and
productive by incorporating socially and environmentally sustainable practices
into their business operation.
Cinda International
participates the environmental, works actively and is of its first time awarded
the“Green Achievement Award 2014 (Certificate of Merit)”. The award presentation
ceremony was held on 28 November 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre. The ceremony was kicked off by the speech by Mr. Albert
Chan, Head of Commercial Banking Hong Kong. Mr. Mathew Cheung Kin Chung, GBS,
JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, officiated the ceremony. Mr. Lau Mun Chung,
the Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of Cinda International,
received the award on behalf of Cinda International at the ceremony.
As a responsible
corporation, Cinda International will continue to put forward the environmental
protection measures in order to foster the environmental protection.
